Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CIMA/ACCA Finalist or recently qualified to join this high tech global group based in the Docklands. You will be part of a very busy London based finance team and take responsibility for management accounting for the UK and European entities as well as overseeing the consolidation in EMEA. - Duties will include taking responsibility for the UK and EMEA and liaising with management accountants across the group producing full monthly management accounts. - Maintain the general ledger, month end monthly analysis and balance sheet and month end reconciliations. - Liaise with the local entities with regards to VAT and payroll and work closely with the auditors for the year end. - Entries into and maintenance of the general ledger, including all aspects of month end close - Review and analysis of monthly results; - Reconciliation of and maintaining support for balance sheet accounts; - Production and distribution of monthly reports; - Liaison with local external advisors in respect of VAT and payroll entries and filings; - Liaison with auditors in respect of the preparation and finalisation of audited Annual financial statements; and ad hoc tasks as and when required. The ideal person will have a proven track record in management accounts, international GAAP and SOX compliance would be a huge bonus, first rate communication skills, highly driven and ambitious, self motivated with a hands on approach. You will be studying towards your finals or newly qualified with first rate systems skills.
