An established Lloyd's broker based Southend is currently looking to recruit an accountant to join the team Your new company An established Lloyd's broker based in the City and Southend is currently looking to recruit an accountant to join their successful team in Southend-on-sea. This is a well respected Lloyd's insurance broker that prides themselves on the service they produce. Your new role Being in such a pivotal position you will be have to confidently liaise with the board of directors on various financial reports and queries. Your main duties include but are not limited to: Completion of monthly Management Accounts for IRIS and/or subsidiary companies Office Bank reconciliations Capital Budgeting and Long Term Strategic and Financial Planning Analysis Monthly Budget variance reports Completion of budget packs for review with divisions on a quarterly basis VAT Returns Investment Analysis What you'll need to succeed You will have a number of years experience in a similar role within the insurance industry. You will be either AAT qualified or currently studying your chartered accounting qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA). You will possess a high calibre of numerical and literacy skills with the ability to effectively communicate and organise your time.
