Overview

An experienced Sous Chef is required to work at a two AA Rosette hotel located in the Penrith region of Cumbria Role: A country house hotel situation in a stunning location is recruiting for a strong Sous Chef to join the team of eight chefs in the kitchen.This role of Sous Chef will focus on the hotel’s two AA Rosette accredited restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon teas with very little banqueting taking place at the venue.As Sous Chef you will be required to run the kitchen on the Head Chefs days off ensuring that the two AA Rosette level cooking is maintained at all times whilst also assisting with the stock control, budget management, processing online orders and having an input on the menu design. Requirements: An exceptionally strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up or an experienced Sous Chef is required to take on this role.It is essential that all chefs applying for this role have recent experience working in two AA Rosette awarded kitchens offering modern British dining.A talented chef who is also a confident team leader with good kitchen management knowledge with plenty of experience running service is needed to take on the role.
