Overview
Commercial Litigation Partner Our client is a firm with a strong culture. They have a highly established commercial litigation team in Manchester, handling general commercial disputes including shareholder disputes, breach of warranty claims, and more niche property disputes. The work is excellent, and there is a clear collegiate feel in the team - sharing work and clients as the norm. Due to the structure in Manchester, they are looking to add an additional Commercial Litigation Partner to move into a Head of Department position. The Role · Join a highly performing commercial litigation team, working in the Manchester city centre office. · Handle complex commercial disputes, including general contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and breach of warranty claims. · Share client relationships across the team and take on responsibility with the other Partners for mentoring junior solicitors. · Move into a Head of Department position and take a lead in terms of management and future growth of the team. The Candidate · An existing Commercial Litigation Partner, with the seniority and gravitas to lead a team. · Proven management capability and the desire to take on a Head of Department position. · Ideally some contacts or a small following of work, although this does not form a key requirement as there is existing work and clients to tap into. · To be able to work as part of a collegiate Partnership group where team work is essential.
