Overview
A Legal 500 ranked Family Department within a well regarded forward-thinking firm in South Manchester is on the lookout for an experienced family solicitor. Your role as the Family Solicitor will be to manage a broad range of family/matrimonial cases which are all privately-funded. This will include divorce, pre-nuptials, cohabitation disputes and financial arrangements. The department and wider firm are seeing continued growth and are highly regarded across many of their specialisms. You will need to be able to work autonomously with little supervision and be used to managing a full caseload of private family matters. You will be reporting directly into the Regional Head of Family and, alongside managing your caseload, you'll play an active part in business development. You must be a qualified family solicitor or legal executive with 4 years' PQE and a proven track record in handling privately funded family matters. You will be client-focused, personable and professional with strong communication skills. Also, the ability to undertake the marketing of the Family Department would be ideal.
