Overview

Are you a Project Manager within a Mechanical engineering environment? A growing and well established organisation require a Project Lead to join their team based in West Bromwich . Salary up to £32K dependant on experience plus 25 days holiday rising with service, holiday purchase scheme, profit share, pension and a health plan working Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. As Project Manager you will be working within an engineering team managing projects ranging from £2K to £250K in value. Typical duties will include running meetings with internal and external stakeholders , managing the project lifecycle and dealing with any issues should they arise, managing project costs and budgets , liaising with Sales, Procurement and Design Engineers and working closely with sub contractors to ensure quality and compliance. You will have at least 2 years experience within a similar role as Project Manager or Project Lead within an engineering or manufacturing environment . You will have a proven track record of leading manufacturing or engineering projects to cost, quality and time. You will be computer literate with good knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word. It is essential that you hold a relevant qualification, PRINCE2 or APMP, a strong 'can do' attitude with the ability to manage a project autonomously. Exposure to CAD software will be beneficial along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. It is essential that you hold a valid drivers license.
