If you’re a .NET Developer looking to join a progressive and rewarding charity that offers the opportunity to work on public-facing websites & applications using ASP.NET, MVC, C#, Entity Framework, Azure, JavaScript & Sitecore CMS this job could be right for you The Job As a .NET Developer , you’ll be part of a dynamic Agile Fundraising team, reporting into the Tech Lead, working on the charities key fundraising B2C websites and contributing web applications. Added to this you will be involved in the user experience, digital campaign development & web analytics. Working closely with the rest of the tech team, you’ll be hands-on in your development approach developing backend code for user stories and assist with the integration of front development into back code and vice versa. In return, you’ll have access to the latest development tools and methodologies with the team currently migrating their code bases to .NET Core be an active member of the team SCRUM’s and play a key role in the bi-annual hackathons to develop the team’s innovation credentials. On top of this you can expect to become Sitecore Certified within the role as the team will invest heavily into all your training and certifications. The Tech Requirements Good programming knowledge in C#, ASP.NET Using and developing relational databases using SQL Understanding in MVC Exposure to Agile development principles & environment Knowledge in Entity Framework Ability to develop client-side using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery Sitecore experience/knowledge (desired) The Client This job provides a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest charity’s whose vital work and fundraising helps save the lives of thousands of terminally ill people across the UK.
