Overview
This niche practice is recruiting into its Established Corporate Team in Exeter. You will be joining a team of excellent lawyers who advise clients across the South West, South East and nationally. These clients vary from start-ups to international organisations. Your matters will include advising on investment and shareholder documentation, M&A, reorganisations, venture capital, cross-border transactions, private equity investments and restructurings. Although a smaller practice, this firm competes with the much larger local firms of which you will have heard. Operating under the radar, clients often prefer this tailored service and over time the firm has developed an excellent client base. You will ideally have at least 2-6 years' experience within corporate law. Due to the complexity and nature of the clients, it is likely you will have been working at a larger firm and will have received excellent training. Joining this firm will be very different You will retain a high-quality caseload and enjoy a more relaxed environment with much encouragement and trust from the partners who are on hand every step of the way. You will not have high billing targets, or be required to stay at work until midnight Work-life balance is encouraged here, as is agile working. It could be very different from what you are used to.
