Solicitor / Legal Executive - Civil Litigation - 1-5yrs PQE - West Sussex One of the leading firms in Sussex with offices in both west and east counties with an established reputation for providing good quality advice to both individual and commercial clients. Due to growth at the firm they now require further expertise in their Civil Litigation Department and so are looking to appoint an additional fee earner in the shape of a qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with anywhere between 1-5 yrs PQE (or equivalent) to be based out of the Worthing office. The role represents a great opportunity to work closely with the Head of Department and Partner at the firm and so benefit from over 20 years experience gained within civil litigation. For those at the earlier stages of their development a clear opportunity exists to build professional experience at good pace with plenty of client interaction. For those already well on their way to being established working alongside an experienced partner will allow you to further refine your acquired skills and develop your reputation within the region to become a highly valued asset in the firm's long term future. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a wide variety of work including property litigation, contentious probate, professional negligence and a wide variety of contract disputes. You will manage your own caseload and engage with clients regularly as well as assisting on more complex matters with the Head of Department. A good grasp of civil litigation procedure is key to success in this role as well as excellent client care a good all round professional approach, great interpersonal communications and an ability to advise clients on complex matters in a straightforward manner. The role is predominantly based out of the Worthing office you will also be required to travel to other sites across Sussex, providing variety and a chance to engage with the rest of the firm but also providing further opportunity to establish a sound reputation across a broad range of clients and future business opportunity and development.
