Test Equipment Design Engineer Location: Stevenage Salary: Up to £48,000 benefits – (Bonus, Overtime, Pension & more) Working within a world leading, technical engineering organisation, we currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Test Equipment Development Engineers, where you will be rewarded with a challenging position in a company that offers excellent career opportunities, a fantastic working environment and the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced engineering products in the sector. As the Test Equipment Development Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs Test Equipment and will encompass a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines and product technologies including RF Systems, Mechanical Actuation, Analogue and Digital Electronics and Digital Communications. You will be offered challenges not only in your core discipline, but also scope for growth and career development across the business. Test Equipment Design Engineer responsibilities: Design and development of leading-edge Test Equipment products from conception through to delivery and ongoing support. Working with project teams to develop effective total test solutions to meet the challenges of delivery timescales and technical performance through the Unit Under Test product development, qualification and production life cycle. Integration and proving of Test Equipment with the Unit Under Test. Working with colleagues across Europe to deliver test solutions. Test Equipment Design Engineer skills and qualifications required: Experienced Engineer in the design, integration and validation of test solutions for electronic / electro mechanical equipment and systems Knowledge of test needs and techniques in support of product life cycle development Design Proving and performance testing during development Environmental and EMC testing during qualification etc. Product integrity testing in Series Manufacture Product Acceptance Support to deployed Test Equipment Other desirable experience / knowledge CE marking (LVD and EMC).
