Overview
We're looking for a Care Manager for a company that provides complex care to adults and children with healthcare needs in their own homes. As a Care Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the packages of care for a caseload of clients, ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient delivery of quality care and nursing to people with complex needs. This Care Manager role would suit an experienced Care Coordinator or Field Care supervisor with strong work history, a Care Manager, Deputy Manager or even a Branch Manager of a smaller service. The Care Manager role Our client delivers care and nursing to people with health care needs such as Brain Injury, Motor Neurone Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Stoke, Neurological conditions, and vented clients. They supply both nurses and carers to support each individual in their own home. They support people across a region that extends from London to Northamptonshire. As the Care Manager you'll… Manage the care packages of a caseload of clients and manage the staff team within those packages. Ensure that care is delivered in accordance with CQC standards and other regulations Visit your clients in their own homes to conduct reviews of their care, updating their care plans and implementing changes where needed. Lead, manage and motivate your staff teams, undertake supervisions and appraisals with staff Ensure the effective deployment and coordination of staff Ensure that staff are fully up to date with all training requirements Liaise proactively with clients, local authorities' CCGs The Successful Candidate You'll be an experienced care professional who understands the complexities of supporting people with complex and multiple needs in their own homes. You may have worked as a Care Manager, Deputy Manager, Care coordinator, Care consultant, or Care Supervisor previously. You'll have great leadership and management skills You'll have great customer service skills with a focus on working hard to ensure the client's needs are met You'll have experience of working in domiciliary care environment It's essential that you're a driver with your own vehicle, You'll need to be able to participate in an on-call rota You'll demonstrate and excellent knowledge of CQC standards, Interested?
