Overview
Finance Systems Manager position in Reading Your new company My client is a public sector organisation who are looking to recruit a Finance Systems Manager to help with the implementation of a new ERP system. The company are flexible on the level of qualification of the chosen candidate, but would be keen for them to have strong systems skills and previous systems implementation skills would be ideal. Your new role Act as the primarily liaison point for external systems implementation consultant Manage the integration and configuration of the ERP and reporting systems Manage go live process and assist with roll out Develop specific finance reporting requirements within the new system Assist on improving workflow processes Manage month end closes to ensure that sub ledgers are recorded in the General Ledger Manage and maintain chart of accounts Support the creation of insightful data analytics Business partner with other departments to create creative solutions to business issues What you'll need to succeed Substantial systems experience Advanced Excel, BI and data integration desirable Project management experience Ideally qualified Ability to train colleagues Reporting for a large business to UKGAAP desirable What you'll get in return Flexible benefits Pension Flexible working potential What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
