The graduate pricing analyst sits in the Retail Pricing Team within the Commercial Directorate that is formed by the Pricing Manager and 2 analysts. You will be keeping a close eye on trading across different channels and insurance products (Sales, cancelations, etc) and developing customer propensity and Life Time Value (LTV) models. You will work with a large number of stakeholders across almost every area of our business to resolve queries in relation to pricing. You will be utilising a market leading software (Emblem & Radar) to produce the different models and use SAS or SQL for data query resolution. Queries can come from all areas of the business, from our contact centre colleagues, to trading & product teams or the CEO. You will have the ability to communicate effectively across all stakeholder levels. What projects will you be working on? The most important project you will work on is the "Radar Project" in which you will extract data from SAS/SQL and build models in Emblem that will reflect Real Time Pricing with the newly acquired Radar Platform. In the BAU element of the role, you will work with teams in Marketing, Finance, Aggregators, Business Intelligence, Wholesale Pricing, Product, Real Time Analysis & Contact Centre just to mention a few. What skills & experience do you require? Essential BSc in a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Science, Economics, etc.) Proven analysis skills and an appreciation of statistical modelling and related techniques Ability to pay attention to detail Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively in a team services environment. You have had exposure to the following methodologies in your work: Logistic regression, clustering, decision trees, machine learning, uplift modelling. You will be open to change and driving change within the organisation. Desired MSc in a relevant discipline Exposure/Experience in programming and using statistical software (SAS, R, RStudio, Emblem, Radar, Python, Java, SQL) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Who are your key relationships?
