Overview
Disrepair Surveyor North West London £28-£32 per hour A Local Authority in North West London is looking for an experienced candidate within Legal Disrepair to offer a resolution focused surveying service providing excellent customer service at every stage to enhance the reputation of the Council's Housing Property Service. Responsibilities: To deliver a high level comprehensive technical surveying function incorporating diagnosis, specification, ordering, supervision and communication in order to maximise effectiveness and financial performance. Provide a high level of customer service with emphasis on getting repairs right the first time, keeping promises and taking ownership for the customer demands and request. Promote self-sufficiency in our services while offering support to those that need extra help. Work with partners to set, coordinate, track and ensure completion of voids and repairs works with other services to get things done for the customer which meet or exceed customers' expectations. Provide a customer focussed service of surveying and auditing to support the responsive repairs and voids contracts, inclusive of pre and post inspections, and managing complex works from inception to completion with emphasis on getting it right the first time. Manage assigned projects for complex repairs, ensuring that agreed outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected standard. Execute the project according to the agreed project plan. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. Requirements: Relative experience of building maintenance in a local authority or other registered social landlord. Experience of developing excellent relationships with customers, members and colleagues in all services and agencies, understanding of different roles in promoting successful service outcomes.
