Registered Mental Health Nurse - North London - Permanent - Full Time - up to £33,000 plus enhancements An excellent opportunity for a dynamic and driven nurse has arisen in a private hospital in Southgate, North London. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse with an up to date NMC PIN. You will work in the Hospital's adolescent unit which consists of 2 wards. The vast majority of patients are funded by the NHS and referred from local NHS out-patient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The service works with 12-17 year olds, with a particular specialty in self-harm. They use a variety of therapeutic approaches, in particular Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Your responsibilities will include: - Effectively managing risk and promoting patient involvement in their care and treatment. - Assessment, planning and implementation of patient care. - Attending daily multidisciplinary handover meetings, ward round and CPA meetings. You may also be required to work in the adult acute unit dependant on service needs. This unique opportunity will allow you to gain experience in a multitude of specialist areas including CAMHS, Adults Acute, Addictions and specialist OCD. This will allow you to expand your knowledge and skillset very quickly giving you an outstanding platform for your career.
