Overview
Badenoch Clark are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading organisation based in Leatherhead for an Accounts Payable Manager. Responsibilities to include: Day-to-day management of the accounts payable team. Manage the timely production of bacs and cheque payment runs. Resolve complex queries raised by AP Clerks. Manage the identification and correct recording of VAT to maximise the recovery from HMRC. Review the purchase ledger on a regular basis and liaise with suppliers to eliminate credit balances on supplier accounts. Ensure that the month end timetable is achieved and provide assistance to other teams if required. Prepare year-end information to enable the completion of the final accounts Facilitate the annual internal audit and implementation of recommendations Attend and participate in Accounts Payable Team and other Finance Department meetings where appropriate Staff appraisals Requirements - - Must have worked in a similar role. - Exposure to Purchase-to-pay - Ideally used Concur - Strong communication with senior members.
