Junior Software Developer Based in: Poole, Dorset Salary: £25k – £30k, DOE Hours: Mon-Thurs 9.00am – 5.30pm, Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm Contract: Permanent, Full Time At Oak Innovation, we believe technology should help people to communicate better. Join us We're looking for a full-time Junior Software Developer to be part of our experienced and enthusiastic Development team. Reporting to the Development Manager, you'll need to be a skilled and enthusiastic developer with at least 2 years commercial in a commercial software development role, who can hit the ground running. You'll be working on several different software products, as well as working with our Service Desk to explore opportunities to enhance our products for ease of support and diagnostics. Key responsibilities: Undertake specific assigned tasks e.g. Bug fixed, Small features and customisation. Collaborate with colleagues as to the design/implementation of new products/features. Design and develop support and diagnostic tools. Liaise effectively with other internal Teams (QA, Sales, Service Desk etc.) when appropriate. Essential skills: C# .NET / .NET Core HTML/CSS/JavaScript SQL Sound understanding of the SDLC / development processes Experience of Client/Server, Database & Web based application development Excellent time management skills and planning/scheduling ability Ideally, some of the following: Angular / React Typescript GIT source control Working in an Agile Scrum team Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant discipline What you can expect from us: A warm welcome, encouragement and responsibility Option to work remotely 2 days per week (after 3 months' probation) Free parking Private health care (after 3 months' probation) Death in Service – 3 times salary Company pension Discounted David Lloyd gym membership Complimentary daily fruit and refreshments If you have the skills and experience required, please click on APPLY and forward your CV and cover letter with current salary details, explaining why you are a good fit for this role.
