Senior IT Technician - Systems & Operations Support & Deployment Peterborough £30k Benefits & Training Are you a a support and operations professional with experinence in software deployment and rollouts? Our client are a long established and successful MSP & Healthcare Software House. They are looking for an experienced IT Technician to complement their operations and support team. Activities will include: Working closely with the project manager and development teams to plan and action the rollout of Software. Manage and deliver the technical rollout of upgrades for both existing and new products. 2nd line IT support and investigation Review of Hardware configuration ensuring compliance Build and maintain processes, employing a Continuous improvement strategy SQL Configuration Essential IIS Configuration SQL Server configuration TSQL experience Strong organisational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Desirable Azure deployment experience Hardware (server experience) Microsoft certified The role will involve reviewing customer's systems and tech such as servers to ensure they are compliant with the software rollout. DevOps experience is desireable. The role aim is to make rollouts more efficient and effective, this may involve upgrading SQL Server, acting as technical consultant for the rollout, ensuring continual improvement, systems and operational support and executing SQL scripts.
