MAIN JOB PURPOSE As part of the Cyber Solutions QA team, as QA Analyst/ Coordinator you will own hands-on and proactive execution of assigned QA activities on projects or releases. You will follow through and implements QA strategy and proactively work with other teams to ensure Nominet complies with robust QA policy. We are establishing a new QA team for our Cyber Solutions and you can help us shape best practice testing and automation. JOB SUMMARY Own preparation, scheduling and execution of automated and manual system/functional/regression test activities. Own preparation, review and prioritisation of user acceptance test cases. Follow up on QA project/release schedule delivery and coordinates execution of user acceptance test cases (UAT) with business testers. Own bugs reporting, tracking progress of fixes and retesting/confirmation of implemented fixes (JIRA). Record test results (JIRA). Carry out necessary amendments to existing regression test scripts and prepares new regression test scripts. Initiate and prioritise regression test scripts execution to ensure relevant test coverage is maintained and risks are mitigated (JIRA). Initiate and follow through to a successful conclusion process of business requirements review to determine readiness for QA and Development activities to commence. Working with business managers to arrange and coordinate UAT teams. Ensure QA checklists for project/release are actively used by stakeholders. Work closely with software release manager to coordinate testing timing, and report on test progress. Ensure agreed QA deadlines are met. Contribute to Change Advisory Board and Go-No Go meetings by providing initial assessment of overall QA outcome to determine fitness for deployment to Production. Initiate test closure activities (lessons learnt, test documentation finalisation and QA templates update recommendation). KEY REQUIREMENTS Experience in implementing automated test framework and maintaining automated suite of tests. Experience in preparing, executing and closing automated and manual test activities. Preparation and delivery of QA test activities and test plans. Working in cross-functional teams. Excellent time management skills.
