Overview
Full time, permanent Field Based Our client, one of the largest veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the world, have an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent, Sales Training and Development Manager . The Sales Training and Development Manager will be in a key position as our client’s training and development activities evolve, continuing to build an environment for learning opportunities to drive individual growth and further business success, all supported by senior management and an organisation who have a real appetite to invest in commercial team development and training. Your main duties will include: Assisting the local commercial teams and Global Sales Training teams to deliver and compile the organisation’s commercial training plans by executing and reviewing current training programmes, developing and co-ordinating new frameworks of competencies and behaviours in line with the changing market environment. Partnering with the local commercial team for all their training requirements, continually seeking to improve learning and development processes to ensure our learning interventions are embedded holistically across the organisation, ensuring consistency of delivery and optimum results. This will include front line in field coaching and support as well as contributing to the development, evolution and implementation of our expanding commercial training needs in full collaboration with the global training team. Co-facilitating global training programmes including but not limited to DISC, Leadership and Management, Change Management and Project Management. Working with Global Sales Excellence trainer and HR network in implementing and identifying talent management tools and processes so that performance management and succession plans are embedded within the culture of the organisation. You will have a willingness to travel in the UK and abroad and have a passion for learning. You must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role, with a track record of designing, developing and delivering training courses, and an awareness of the sales and business development processes. You should be a confident and inspirational public speaker and you should be able to build and maintain strong working relationships. You will be highly skilled at facilitating and animating training courses and have an understanding of multimedia programmes, tools, and learning software.
