SEMH Outreach Tutor Outreach Worker 1:1 Maths and English Interventions SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) ASAP/Easter Full-Time TimePlan Education currently has an opportunity available for an Outreach tutor to work with SEMH pupils across the Borough of Bromley. The successful candidate will be strong willed, tolerant and patient individual who can empathise with this pupil's challenging needs. You will be required to do basic Maths and English interventions on a 1:1 basis in the children's homes local in the borough. The pupils are in KS3 - KS5. An SEMH Outreach Tutor is a tailored intervention program to support pupils in reaching their full potential. Your working hours will generally be Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, however, it may vary slightly. You will get excellent onsite training and CPD including; behaviour management, mental health, de-escalating situations, positive handling, restraint training and more. The school is in a great location situated a 10-minute walk from Bromley High Street. The school has fantastic resources for the pupils and the staff are a well-rounded energetic team.
