From branding to web design, from large scale projects to a bit of friendly advice. We are now looking for a Full Stack Developer/Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in Sheffield. Development skills Architecting, planning and implementing project infrastructure and technical approach Writing, reviewing and testing code to a high professional standard Reviewing and constructively feeding back on others’ work, and taking on-board feedback from others Deconstructing, analysing and understanding users’ requirements to inform your work Documenting your work, within code comments and in external documentation Everyday professional skills Using our project management tools and processes to help collaboration and record keeping Following defined processes and adhering to standards Championing security, accessibility and development best practice across the business Sharing knowledge across the team and the company Prioritising your own workload Directing and guiding the work of other development team members, external suppliers and freelancers where appropriate Commercial Helping to ensure the company meets its strategic goals and financial targets Helping Client Account teams to estimate work Skills and experience - Full Stack Developer / Senior Full Stack Developer / Web Developer Essential A range of well-developed skills across core development disciplines: Expert front-end mark-up & styling JavaScript including frameworks, such as React etc. Automating workflows (we currently use Bitbucket pipelines / Gulp / ES6 / Babel / Webpack / SCSS / Node.js). Databases MySQL Architecting applications to be highly efficient, reliable, and resilient under load Security best practice and techniques Version control (Git) Track record of developing and contributing to concept, design and strategy in projects across varied work types and scales. Desirable Modx PHP Other back-end technologies Experience with automated testing with CI / CD High standards of accessibility Demonstrate an understanding of client aims, commercial or otherwise, and then articulate and produce work that supports these.
