The team Shoosmiths Private Client Conveyancing Team offers a highly professional conveyancing service designed to make the process of buying or selling property as efficient and stress-free for their clients. The conveyancing service provided by our Private Client Practice maintains the same high standards corporate clients have come to expect of Shoosmiths and is consistently commended in national consumer service awards. The role To be expert with the technical elements necessary to provide a quality and comprehensive conveyancing service with a customer service focus and working in accordance with the Shoosmiths Values and Agreed Behaviours. You will be required to manage a team of 1 - 3 paralegals and, ensure your team can manage a volume caseload with minimum assistance. You will have account responsibility for managing referrals from key suppliers and be required to attend their regional meetings from time to time, seeking to establish a co-working relationship with our suppliers, to help meet their deadlines and targets." Main responsibilities Competently, confidently and consistently undertake all key functions and adhere to the Performance Standards expected of the Conveyancer and Assistant Conveyancing Manager roles. Deputise for Senior Conveyancing Manager/Conveyancing Team Manager in their absence Manage a team of case handlers with systems and processes to ensure the team can manage a volume caseload with minimum intervention and assistance. Manage and monitor referrals from key suppliers and maximise all conveyancing opportunities from that provider. Analyse reasons for any reduction in supply of work by direct discussion with provider on a regular basis to identify any service issues early on. Visit work providers regularly. Attend regional/area meetings to establish strong working relationships with key contacts. Be flexible in your approach where possible, if it meets your providers requirements Ensure case handlers retain strong relations with work providers and are familiar with forecasts to enable them to work together with their providers to achieve common targets. Ensure your unit are working towards meeting the departments key performance indicators in terms of volume; targets; forecasts and client questionnaire returns.
