Overview
Servelec have a new and exciting opportunity for a Clinical Application Specialist with specific experience of working in a community or mental health care setting. You will provide expertise in the functionality of the products offered by Servelec whilst bringing the benefit of their clinical experience to the organisation and the customers that we support. As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will report into the Delivery team to support the implementation of Servelec products to customers, however you will also provide support across the various business functions due to their product knowledge and clinical experience. Main responsibilities will include: To lead on the transformational aspects of project delivery. This will include implementation tasks such as; Supporting the customer through the business change process. Supporting/inputting into the benefits realisation aspects of the project. Ad hoc support on product functionality and usage of the system. Creating and running training courses. Support sales activities including; The ability to provide input into written sales bids provide product demonstrations within a sales environment support for exhibitions, providing product demonstrations, including set up for demos and interacting with the public to respond to questions requests for information presenting the products and the company in a positive light. Provide input in the design and development of future products or enhancements to existing products drawing not only on their excellent working knowledge of the product suite but also their usage within a clinical setting both from their own experience and from understanding our current customer's usage of the system. Perform testing activities to support in the quality delivery of future products or enhancements to the existing product suite. Provide support in the production of the Clinical Safety reports for new products or enhancements to the existing product suite. Support the Service Delivery function within the business by assisting in the triage of issues. Providing insight into expected usage of the system and clinical risk. Provide training and product familiarisation sessions for internal staff within the organisation. Essential Skills Proven clinical experience in a community or mental health care setting and current clinical qualification e.g. Registered Nurse with a current clinical qualification is essential. Experience in Healthcare Information Technology (EPR and PAS) is essential. Confident presenting the various products to a varied audience and comfortable answering questions that promote the functionality within the available product in a positive light in a way that contributes to a positive sales opportunity. Good facilitation skills with the ability to manage a workshop style environment to support participation leading to decisions and consensus where there may be competing priorities. Experienced in the delivery of training and product demonstrations to a variety of audiences. Flexibility and a willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. Excellent written communication skills along with an ability to understand the customer's requirements and describe in a positive way how the Servelec products can meet these.
