The service is ideally situated in Sheffield and is within easy reach of public transport links, local shops and amenities. This warm and friendly purpose built home boasts a range of excellent facilities for the residents to enjoy including regular activities and days out to suit the residents interest. The home also offers a beautiful garden and communal lounge areas for residents to relax and unwind. This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to join a leading and forward thinking healthcare provider in one of their small, specialised care homes in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The service provides person centred care for residents aged 18 and above with a range mental health conditions, learning disabilities and complex care needs. This includes caring for residents with bipolar/ manic depression, Schizophrenia, Alcohol Dependence and challenging behaviour. The Home Manager is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Unit Manager (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to join the team on a permanent basis. The manager can be flexible to work full time, part time, days, nights or mixed shifts to suit you. The service boasts an excellent reputation and good CQC rating. Our Clinical Nurse Managers play a key part in the daily running of the Specialist Care Centre, working closely with the Registered Manager, ensuring that the Specialist Care Centre runs effectively and efficiently and that the care provided is of the highest quality. There will, of course, be times when you have to roll up your sleeves and deliver hands-on nursing and personal care but that's the nature of the job, and it keeps your skills up to date. About the job Your role will be to support the Registered Manager in the day to day activities in the Specialist Care Centre, so this means that you will be involved in: • Managing the clinical and care teams • Carrying out pre-admission assessments • Conducting supervisions and appraisals • Auditing, reviewing and updating care plans and medication records • Managing staffing levels, compiling rotas etc. • Assisting with staff training and development Employee Benefits: Through joining this company you will receive a range of benefits in addition to a competitive salary.
