Overview
My client is leading international retailer who is looking for an experienced management accountant for 6 Months to help deliver some exciting projects. You will be part of the fabric of the finance department , supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis manager and the Financial Controller. You will also have great responsibility in supervising and nuturing more junior members of the team, influencing their career progression. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for a key entity in the group Preparation of Monthly management accounts packs Business partnering partculalry with non-specialists Responsible for the Budgeting and Forecasting process Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts Involvement with the audit process Produce journals Accruals and prepayments Any other ad-hoc duties Desired : Industry qualifications desired (ACCA, CIMA) although candidates who are not qualified will still be considered Excellent written and oral communication skills A strong team and work ethic Attention to detail Commercially minded and able to present to non-specialists Goal-orientated and takes initiative For more Finance jobs please contact me or one of my colleagues at Edward Mann.
