Overview
Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Supply Chain Analyst for a well-established FMCG retailer based in North Hertfordshire. My client provides high-quality products to their large store estate across the UK. The company is currently going through an exciting period of change with serious investment in systems and store development ongoing. My client is keen to add an experienced Senior Supply Chain Analyst to their growing retail Supply Chain function. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will provide insightful information to the wider supply chain function, so that the business can make informed business decisions; improving their colleague and customer experience. This role is key in improving efficiencies across the full end to end of my client's supply chain. This role will work closely with key stakeholders across finance, supply chain, stores and trading. It will also have daily interaction with our client's 3PL. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst role is a key hire for my client and it will be very much a blank canvas for the successful candidate. This role will be more strategic than the usual supply chain analyst role but it will also include a lot more data manipulation and number crunching. Responsibilities Work with data from multiple sources to develop reporting dashboards in Microsoft Excel, Slimstock, Torex and 3PL WMS systems (Manhattan) Support in the overall delivery of my client's supply chain reporting plans Work collaboratively with the Finance Director and 3PL to ensure allocations and replenishment are in the right volumes Analyse data from multiple sources including the 3PL depot, stores and the trading team to craft and build specific reports Be the voice of Supply Chain and the Finance Director, interpret mass volumes of data, crunch numbers and make recommendations to improve best practice across Supply Chain To be successful in this role you will need to be highly numerate and have a real passion for data and numbers.
