Working within the Service Operations department, the team is responsible for providing management of server and end user infrastructure technologies across our European and South African operations (EMEA region). Keeping our data and IT infrastructure safe the role has a focus on security vulnerability management. The role: As a Systems and Security Management Engineer you will be managing a number of infrastructure systems. As part of the Systems and Security Management team you will be responsible for providing systems administration support and maintenance for CTS IT infrastructure with a strong focus on patching and remediation of security vulnerabilities. The position is required to work closely with Computershare Technology Services and our Global Information security department to implement process improvements. Key Accountabilities: · Microsoft Security Patching (OS, CU and Servicing Stack) on Workstations & Servers · Third Party Patching (Manage Engine) · Maintaining logical and physical security measures where appropriate. · Maintaining systems both hardware and software. · Maintenance: i.e. version upgrade, OS uplift · Patch Management Auditing · Day-to-day maintenance of Microsoft Platforms · SCCM client remediation. · Providing support to POC and deployment activities · Reviewing Network Assessment scans and remediation of vulnerabilities · Managing Citrix XenDesktop base image using layering technologies (Governing it tobe 1-2 Gold images to maintain monthly · Application deployments · Audit management/engagements from clients · Administration of Anti-Virus products – Trend OfficeScan and Deep Security · Global engagement and knowledge sharing with peers Skills Good Communicator Able to self-motivate Excellent team and organization skills Works well under pressure Have had exposure to handling time critical tasks Keeps knowledge up-to-date, is a technical resource for others, follows technology practices and standards Strong analytic and problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and make decisions that meet customer objectives Able to collaborate globally: Engage and knowledge share with global peers for global support and process Understanding of ITIL v3 processes and functions Specific Key Benefits of the Role Computershare offers all employees 25 days holiday, an excellent pension scheme, shareholder incentive plan (buy one get one free on all shares purchased) and a flexible employee benefits scheme (including the option to buy additional annual leave).
