If this sounds like you, and you then read on… Key responsibilities include: • Provide trade strategy business input • Execution of projects and plans in relation to strategic priorities • Contribute overall integrity of trade plans • Uses Category management best practices • Consistent use of planning tools & processes (e.g. LTP & Budget lock) • Supports in Annual Planning Cycles (e.g. GPS) • Analyses customer investment strategies • Trade rates applied for responsibility area • Tracks & reports trade problems (TP) & Gross to Net (GTN) • Plans to support sales targets via trade tactics • Develops budgets by account/ product line • Is able to keep to funding guidelines to ensure optimal execution of tactics • Monitors promotional pricing activities and trade spend effectiveness • Executes promotional plans & monitors trade fund/ customer spend • Collect data & reports on consumption • Executive quarterly plan activities & oversees tracking & reporting The ideal candidate… • Will share category expertise and supports CD to translate expertise into effective customer stories & sales strategies • Is a team player and supports information flow and requests • Must be willing to participate in trade shows and promotional events also as some travel will be required for the role. Skills, knowledge and experience • Bachelor’s degree (business/marketing field related), MBA/ other advanced degree desirable • 3-5 years working with leading CPG company (Category Management, Shopper Insights, Marketing, Sales or related position) • Proven experience of brand management & marketing philosophies, tools & processes • Proven record of success in leading Category Management and engagements with a major retailer • Category Management Association cert is a plus • Software proficiency (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, measures and software (e.g. NPD, Nielsen/Nitro, IRI, Consumer Panel, Spectra, ECRM or Market Track, XP3, etc.) • Familiarity with space management principles and software (e.g. JDA, Prospace, Spaceman, etc.) Salary - £35000 - £40000 benefits package Marketing | Consumer | B2C | Trade Strategy | Product | Category Manager | Data analysis | FMCG
