Senior Event Coordinator £27-£29k West London Role Summary Our client is a highly revered, well renowned and well-established publisher based in West London. They produce industry-leading business and consumer titles, have an impressive events portfolio and also work as an event agency on behalf of 2 of London's most prestigious membership bodies. They are looking for a Senior Event Coordinator to manage a portfolio of events primarily comprising awards, conferences and forums who is expected complete end-to-end project management for 5-6 events a year. Key Responsibilities The Senior Event Coordinator is responsible for budgets, financial management, event timelines, event microsites, marketing, event planning and logistics, and to act as the primary liaison with multiple stakeholders, contracts, venues and attendees. Examples of day to day are; - Responsible for managing P&L and budgets and maintaining forecasts along with the prompt financial decommissioning of projects. - Accountable for the processing of revenues from entries, table bookings and delegates and reconcile all revenues with the event management system - Schedule and run regular meetings for each project with all relevant stakeholders - Produce and maintain an event project plan for each event ensuring that the event runs to schedule and deadlines are met. - Be the point of contact for event sponsors, judges or speakers regarding their involvement in any project. - Responsible for updating information and content on the event micro-sites. - Take responsibility for the telemarketing plan to ensure that all known interested parties are reminded to enter or attend. - Supervise the operational activities of staff assisting you on any project - Responsible for table planning delegate seating including internal brand guests and publish list of finalists and promote sales of table places for awards events. - Ensure Health & Safety, Risk Assessment for the event is delivered in a timely and correct process - Attend each event in your portfolio as the responsible events manager. - Undertake any other reasonable duties. The successful Senior Event Coordinator will have; - Proven experience running commercial awards, forums, conferences or exhibitions - Understanding and managing a budget and P&Ls - An ability to manage your own projects and project plans on a day-to-day basis. - Knowledge and understanding of events marketing. - The ability to work in a highly pressurised environment and to tight deadlines. - Good understanding of event production, suppliers and processes. - Excellent written and spoken English as well as the ability to proofread written documents - Proven stakeholder management experience Katie Crawford Executive Consultant
