Job Description In this Business Development Graduate Scheme, your mission will be to research, investigate and chase new leads to book meetings with your Business Development Manager. You will be contacting international executives across multiple different sectors in order to forge new relationships and deals that can drive the development of the business. You must be incredibly passionate about joining a growing start-up and playing a major part in their success and development. Key responsibilities In this Business Development Graduate Scheme, your responsibilities will include: Research to understand the relevant issues for your market and communicate those issues effectively to senior level executives. Negotiate deals Reaching out through phone, email and meetings in order to create new deals You will be encouraged to bring new ideas to the marketing team and senior management on how to best develop your area of expertise and lead sources further. Exposure to other areas of the business and extra responsibilities from different departments Job requirements At least a 2.1 degree from a top university A passion for working in start-ups and growing them into established companies Previous experience in a sales role is preferable Strong organisation skills Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal A mature and switched on attitude Ability to learn quickly on the job Initiative and a proactive approach Strong relationship building skills A driven and competitive attitude to work Benefits of the job A starting salary of £21,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience) Opportunity to join a fast-growing start-up at the beginning of their journey to becoming a world leader in the events industry Continuous training and development Huge potential for progression Interested in joining a fast-growing events company in London?
