Senior Account Director - PR £57,000 - £65,000 Bonus Excellent Company Benefits Award winning London PR firm seeks a highly talented Account Director to join their rapidly growing business. Our client is currently looking for a Senior Account Director to join their growing Entrepreneurs & Business team, which is part of their Enterprise Division. Their growing portfolio of exciting clients include globally recognised entrepreneurs and business leaders, Britain’s most entrepreneurial brand and pioneers and disruptors at the cutting edge of their sectors. They speak every week with the leaders behind these businesses to build their personal profiles. Team members at every level are client-facing and encouraged to come up with ideas to add value. The Senior Account Director will be an energetic, hard-working, personable and confident individual, who has a genuine passion for the media, including social media and some media contacts. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, agency experience and a can-do attitude. Role Responsibilities - Senior Account Director Develop overarching strategy to accomplish client objectives and coordinate implementation Provide high-level client counsel and creative recommendations on how to meet communication goals Lead client management and administration of accounts, including budget development and management, invoices/payments, reporting, contract management, record keeping and filing Development and editing of high-quality written materials Run all accounts (where feasible) on a need to know basis, utilising head of department when appropriate for advice Business development - Senior Account Director Lead new business efforts and continually identify areas for business expansion Begin to carve out an area of interest within the department that has the potential for growth and to become a defined revenue stream Run and deliver regular new business campaigns with Marketing to target specific sectors, reporting back results and success of activities with suggestions for how to evolve. Build on valuable relationships with experts in the field where they may be a new business opportunity further down the line Attend corporate networking events, reinforcing the credibility of our client as a leading agency Commercial responsibilities - Senior Account Director Significant contribution to the team’s new business strategy and regular delivery of new client wins to support the department’s commercial targets Record higher-level commercial results month to month, maintaining awareness of stance in relation to targets and where improvement is needed Planning for client renewal well in advance of contract expiry Work with account teams to drive upsells and new areas of income Team management (where relevant) - Senior Account Director Supervise and train junior staff, providing quality control and managing workflow Supporting the Head of Department with expansion and development of the team Upskilling and developing key team members Effective delegation of tasks and identifying resourcing needs Lipton Media is a dynamic, proactive and progressive media recruitment agency solely dedicated to the media industry.
