Overview

The Digital Designer will play a key role in the business by delivering graphical and photographic content to support defined marketing objectives. This role requires a degree of independence, including ability to organise your own work, resolve problems and manage projects effectively. You will be expected to contribute and participate in marketing projects with managers and colleagues in order to provide digital design advice and support. Other responsibilities include: Create high quality designs for marketing materials. Print and digital design jobs from concept through to execution, ensuring consistency in design quality adhering to brand guidelines Hands-on artwork and graphical design for a broad range of product material creating digital artwork, assets and illustrations. Design marketing collateral to support company promotions, marketing campaigns, events and operations. Ensure graphical assets meet set guidelines for all customer touchpoints. Manage the production of assets for all seasonal and one-off marketing campaigns Storyboarding - developing and communicating ideas for film, motion graphics, and animations. Liaise with external companies, printers and production agencies to deliver projects on time. Monitor and protect the barnds corporate identity to ensure adherence with our brand guidelines in all marketing and digital media assets. Keep accurate records and manage the quotation and sign-off process for all print marketing campaigns. Support the business’s social media presence with specific digital marketing assets. Editing of lifestyle/product images Essential: University degree in a related discipline including graphic design, fine arts, digital design, digital art or significant relevant experience. Must have over 1 years of experience in a Digital Designer role. An expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience of creating artwork, for use across multiple channels. Strong layout and typography skills Experience of Content Management Systems. Confident in presenting design concepts and work. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Autonomous - taking ownership and responsibility Flexible with an ability to adapt in the moment Ability to take control of the design process and own what you do. Knowledge and understanding of HTML with experience of designing, building and testing responsive HTML emails. A collaborative team player that is driven, proactive, helpful, and enthusiastic.
