Marketing Executive Based: Blackburn Salary: up to £25k dependent on experience. Excellent benefits and opportunities for development Our client is a well-known leading service provider based in the heart of Blackburn that have been established for over 100 years. Part of a wider group, they are a large operator in their field and are now looking for someone to join their Marketing team in a newly created, permanent role due to business growth. They have some big plans for the future and are looking for someone who is keen to progress and develop their marketing career Role: Event planning - full organisational responsibility for venue management, controlling internal/external communication, reporting on feedback Developing all marketing material including content writing, content design, magazines, newsletters, invitations and adverts Updating the company website including writing regular blogs and reporting on statistics Developing digital campaigns through email marketing and social media Managing email marketing database, ensuring GDPR compliance Creating tender documents for new marketing leads - market research and content writing Completing ad-hoc marketing tasks alongside the Marketing Manager and team Supporting on new CRM project including development of the system for the department Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Marketing with a related degree or CIM qualification Experience with Adobe InDesign, WordPress and Mailchimp desirable Experience in writing copy and social media marketing essential Experience of organising/managing events highly desirable Strong initiative, able to take control and manage tasks through to completion with little supervision This is an exciting role, working in a growing business and reporting into an experienced Marketing Manager - please send your CV to be considered
