Digital Marketing Manager / SEO Manager

Position: Digital Marketing/SEO Manager Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 - Dependent upon experience Reports to: Marketing Director Location: Blackburn Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing/SEO Manager within a national retail chain that is looking to increase their e-commerce efforts. The candidate would be responsible for working with the Managing Director to achieve the e-commerce goals. We are looking for someone with drive, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. You will need to work quickly on multiple projects, have a great attitude and excellent communication skills. The assessed candidate must also have a good understanding of SEO in order to help the e-commerce site achieve it's revenue targets. Responsibilities - Main duties will be: Responsible for the implementation of all marketing initiatives, including but not limited to the creation of promotional materials, SEO, SMO, advertising, PR. Management of the social media channels, posting content that is innovative, relevant and well-written. Updating the website, creating content for blog/ Mailshot/ Articles Generating ideas and implementing for new marketing initiatives to drive revenue. Writing and producing marketing collateral for the business and working closely with internal designers to produce high quality promotional materials. Have the ability to create and manage the backlink strategy. Generating reports for digital marketing campaigns using data-based analytics tools. SEO strategy implementation. Person specification - Have a 'Get Things Done' attitude. Excellent organisational skills. Interest in staying current and applying the most current best practices Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, high energy, and drive to exceed targets.
