Chief Technology Officer job in Cardiff - Up to £100,000 Bonus Benefits - Digital Transformation An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a Chief Technology Officer to join a highly established and rapidly expanding organisation in Cardiff on a permanent basis. The Chief Technology Officer will own and drive the strategic IT and software strategy for the organisation, with a view to deliver on an ambitious strategy of transformation and reinvention. This position would suit a forward-thinking individual who can make a significant impact in leading the organisation through an ambitious period of digital transformation. The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for establishing and delivering on the company wide technical vision and strategy in line with the overall business strategy. You will drive the culture of technological innovation throughout the business, inspiring a culture of technological innovation. You will also act as the strategic partner to the Executive Directors, influencing and informing key decision making around technology. The Chief Technology Officer will be accountable for the delivery and transformation of the IT/Digital function across multiple departments including IT Operations, Digital Delivery, Application Development and Architecture. Furthermore, you will take responsibility for technical decision making, championing and challenging relevant IT business cases. You will manage the technology business whilst also ensuring that the technical roadmap is fully understood and implemented by both the IT department and the wider business. You should be a forward thinking, dynamic individual who is keen to lead the technology department to success during a period of ambitious digital transformation. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate: Extensive experience working as a CTO or CIO in an E-Commerce organisation is essential Track record in developing and delivering on strategic technological road maps is essential Significant change management experience is essential Excellent leadership skills, strong team player with a track record of managing high performing teams Strong entrepreneurial talent. You should be a commercially minded individual with strong financial analysis skills. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills Degree in Business, Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent experience. Excellent senior stakeholder management and relationship building skills, including experience of building relationships at Board-level, a strong influencer.
