Assistant Category Manager (Corrugated) - Competitive Benefits - Milton Keynes The Role Do you have the vision and drive for an assistant management position at an innovative and leading eCommerce packaging supplier? We are seeking an Assistant Category Manager to ensure the best in class stock management. Reporting to Stock Planning Manager and Category Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for supply and stockholding of specified categories of products, at best cost prices. The key responsibilities of an Assistant Category Manager include, but are not limited to: Maintaining stock levels to ensure excellent availability and purchasing goods as required at the most beneficial market rate. Ensuring replenishments arrive on schedule and communicating availability information across the company. Processing quote requests, issuing to potential suppliers and liaising with the sales department. The Company We are one of the UK’s and Europe’s leading eCommerce packaging suppliers. The Person The key skills and qualities of an Assistant Category Manager: The successful candidate must be educated to A-Level, with some commercial experience preferred. Data Analysis skills. Microsoft Excel skills required. The successful candidate must have strong time management and the ability to multi-task. The ability to learn quickly, as training will be provided on product knowledge.
