Overview
We are excited to be recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company in Paddock Wood for a Sales Development Representative to embark on a 12 month fixed term contract covering a period of maternity leave. The main purpose of the role is to support long-term business growth by increasing sales. To do this you will be; researching new business opportunities, developing leads from marketing material and campaigns and cultivating strong relationships with potential customers. Being personable and approachable is important as you will be required to follow up on all project opportunities and enquiries into the business, in order to qualify opportunities. This will involve communicating with customers via emails, calls and networking events. Utilising personalised marketing content and understanding the drivers of customer satisfaction. You will work heavily with internal departments; liaising with the marketing team in regards to suitable marketing campaigns, the Business Development Manager to arrange any meetings or calls with prospective customers and the Sales Director to keep the sales pipeline validated Previous experience working within a manufacturing company in a sales discipline is essential along with strong communication skills and tenacity.
