Business Development Manager to £80k Commission Excellent Benefits Package Based Twickenham, West London The Company This is an exciting opportunity to work as Business Development Manager for the UK’s leading IP protection organisation. This company have been established for over 30 years and in that time have been at the forefront of the fight against IP crime. They seek a Business Development manager to develop a growth strategy for the business taking to market the many unique services they offer protecting IP Physical Content and Due Diligence. The Role: Develop a growth strategy focused on client service programmes to deliver enhanced added value. Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with existing and new clients, identifying and developing further opportunities. Understand and keep up to date with developments in the IP, Physical Content and Due Diligence sectors, and establish new income generation possibilities. Planning, organising and delivering new marketing initiatives, including web and social media. Creating and presenting winning proposals, bids and tenders for existing and new clients. Represent the company at conferences, meetings, events and industry forums. Grow opportunities in other industry sectors that would benefit from the company’s services. Conduct research to identify sales opportunities and key decision makers. The Person: Substantial marketing and business development experience gained in a leading professional service firm, with a track record of delivering tangible results. Proven experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a related role in a solution based selling environment. Knowledge and experience in business development in the IP, Physical Content and Due Diligence sectors. Sector and industry knowledge desirable. Experienced in strategic business planning, brand development, creating persuasive proposals bids and tenders, marketing and communications. Demonstrable and effective social skills with the ability to strike rapport and negotiate effectively and professionally. In-depth experience in negotiation and presentation at a senior level. Highly effective planning, budgeting and time management skills. Ability to work to strict deadlines combined with excellent time management and organisation skills. Creative talent with the ability to solve tough problems coupled with strong communication skills and IT literacy.
