Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a busy and growing manufacturing company within their Planning Department as The Planning Supervisor This is a key role ensuring that long and medium term business plans and priorities are achieved. Your responsibilities will be looking at the long term planning out of their sherburn factory. You will be responsible for producing and managing the Demand plan 6 weeks to 12 months Deliver a 6 week product plan Review sales forecasts with the sales team and revise long / medium term plans appropriately. Liaise with central sales and Ops teams for long term planning improvements. Sit on the site leadership team and conduct activities as appropriate. Review the conformance to plan data on a daily / weekly basis and communicate accordingly. Manage and communicate third party schedules. Essential skills needed Working knowledge of MRP systems MS office sills ( advanced excel ) 3 years planning background Experience in reconciling figures Good communication Skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels Troubleshooting experience.
