Qualifications Compliance Officer Salary c. £25,000 pa Full Time We currently have a vacancy at our Teddington head office for a Qualifications Compliance Officer. This role is customer facing and will involve extensive work collating and analysing data, producing statistical reports for internal and external stakeholders and requires exceptional administrative capabilities. A knowledge of the education sector would be advantageous. RSL Awards Ltd RSL is a leading International Music and Performance Arts exams board. Based in SW London we operate in over 50 countries around the world organising, adjudicating and certificating over 80,000 music and performing arts exams annually. These are supported by over 140 books in print, both online and in hardcopy format. The Role As our Qualifications Compliance Officer, you will be expected to undertake the day to day management of existing compliance procedures across RSL in line with regulatory requirements. You will be required to develop an expertise in the qualifications we offer, the policies governing these qualifications and the regulatory framework within which RSL’s portfolio sits. Key duties and responsibilities: Management and administration of quality assurance and compliance processes Provide statistical reports to Quality Committee, regulators and DfE Supporting and tracking compliance investigations of centres and third parties Contribute to the development of new compliance processes and procedures across RSL Provide support for Complaints and Appeals processes Support the review of implementation and efficiency of quality systems Monitor corrective and preventative actions Document and prepare reports on compliance activities The ideal Qualifications Compliance Officer: A degree level education Strong IT skills Experience of data collection, management and analysis is preferred Knowledge of the management or delivery of vocational qualifications and/or examinations would be a distinct advantage Ideally, knowledge of the education sector Prior experience of QA/investigations would be an advantage Personal Characteristics: Ability to maintain confidentiality and to comply with policy and procedure when handling confidential/sensitive data. Well presented, hardworking, tenacious and persistent. Capable, professional and customer focused. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
