Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Home Ownership & Commercial Officer within the Partnerships directorate. This is a full time role on a permanent basis. What’s the role? The successful candidate will be providing excellent services to support the Partnerships team in the delivery of housing, community and other new business opportunities as well as managing a portfolio of commercial activity. Your role will involve proactive communications with our project teams on new build schemes, working in partnership with our Sales and marketing agent and legal teams, management of leaseholders and commercial agents, project admin such as raising purchase orders, payments, invoices and general administrative duties and day to day management of our garages including reporting and monitoring performance Essential: You will have outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and be effective in prioritising workload to meet tight deadlines. You will have the ability to work as part of a team with a positive and proactive attitude to change and have flexibility to manage an array of tasks and ability to think creatively to resolve problems. Be confident in liaising with agents and residents of all tenures via any method of communication. Preferable knowledge of sales and marketing. Proficient in the use of IT systems. Desirable: Have an understanding of the housing sector and development process for affordable housing with experience of using Orchard and Ebis. What can we offer? Working close to Watford Junction station and within walking distance to the shops and cafes of Watford town centre, your salary will be £23,100 - £27,000.
