Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead our in-house design team in delivery of all graphic design projects from brand guidelines to sales collateral and web templates to event signage and video. The Senior Graphic Designer will help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using expertise and eye for great design. The ideal candidate will have a super-strong work ethic and a hands-on approach with the ability to manage a high volume of projects. Responsibilities of Senior Designer: Manage, train and develop a team of 2 Graphic Designers and a Video Producer. Organise design workflow and schedule workload accordingly. Interpret briefs correctly to bring design concepts to life. Take lead on multiple projects, including brand design and creative formats. Think creatively to produce new ideas, concepts and high-quality, detailed work. Create and turn concepts into visual identities and creative collateral across print and digital for a broad range of outputs. Work cohesively with all departments across the company - particularly content, marketing and operations. Act as an ambassador to the brand - maintaining the brand identity across all platforms and forms of collateral. Keeping abreast of emerging technologies - particularly design software. Experience Requirements of Senior Designer: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a major plus. Conceptual thinking, ability to articulate ideas, visualise them and apply to numerous touchpoints. 3 years’ experience in a related creative environment ( ideally events) Experience in video editing / video animation skills Ability to work on multiple projects Ability to communicate ideas and present to a group, then to develop ideas with feedback from colleagues Benefits Competitive Salary 25 days holiday rising to 28 with length of service Birthday day off Pension Enhanced Maternity/Paternity 37.5 hour week Employee Assistance Program - 24/7 access to mental health and legal experts and more Summer and Christmas Parties It is a great time to join GovNet Communications.
