COMPANY DESCRIPTION Our client is one of the largest independent communications and integrated marketing agency’s in the world with 24 offices globally and more than 1,300 people who love bringing communications to the next level. With an office close to Bankside, we are keen to bolster our ranks with a new hire on the Healthcare team to help expand our offering and support existing key integrated client(s). JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose of the Position: This full time role offers a salary range of £24K-£26K. The UK business has gone from a tech agency with two UK health clients to making its mark on the healthcare industry. The team now work with 7 client partners across pharma, consumer health and med tech sectors. The UK Health team enjoy a pitch success rate of 80% and has been shortlisted and highly commended across Communique and Pharma Times agency of the Year Awards. As the UK team is currently small, Account Managers and Executives enjoy working closely with senior team members across a variety of projects, which is great for learning and career development. At the same time, they are part of a global agency which has health teams in key markets such as US, India, Germany, China and Singapore. Key strengths within this role should include content creation, event planning and organisation, media relations, a passion for healthcare, international coordination and the ability to think multi-channel/multi-platform at all times. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES CLIENT SERVICE Working with Account Managers to ensure work is delivered on time Proactively providing updates on deliverables and project status’ PRESS OFFICE Solid media and influencer relations skills - via traditional, social and digital channels Story generation - helping to brainstorm ideas to generate coverage for clients NEW BUSINESS Support for new business opportunities, including research and concept development WORKING WITHIN THE TEAM Working with colleagues and external partners, across time zones and regions Working as an integral part of the UK team, and as an extension of client teams WHO FITS THE BILL EXPERIENCE Previous proven experience: Typically 1-2 years’ experience in communications, preferably in an agency setting or in an in-house role in a healthcare company Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Strong content creation skills - scientific background is helpful, but not essential Experience working with pharmaceutical review systems (e.g. Zinc, Veeva PromoMats etc.) Experience working within ABPI/EFPIA regulatory environments Agency Business Meet company guidelines on best business practices including utilization, daily timesheets, accurate billing, timely expense reports, etc. Manage and understand how to utilize internal client service teams (editing, production, library, etc.) to ensure quality, comprehensive service to clients Culture: Fast paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.) Strong customer service orientation Willingness to take risks Interest in technology and how it’s changing our world Open environment
