Machine Operator - Immediate Start Role: Machine Operator - Binder Operator Rate: £7.70 - £8.21 When: Immediate Start Shifts: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Location: Fareham/Gosport Company: With over thirty years' experience serving the print and publishing industry, our client has the skills, knowledge and expertise to ensure they can respond to quickly provide their customers with quality, printing solutions. Using the latest technology in litho printing, digital printing and inkjet printing, they are specialists in producing books, magazines, journals, brochures and other publications. Responsibilities: An exciting opportunity has become available as a Binder Operator. You will start this role on the smaller binding machine, however there is the opportunity to develop and progress on to bigger machinery. You will be expected to work proactively and mindfully when undertaking your duties. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Read a job sheet for all jobs Become proficient on the binding machine and ensure the quality of the work produced is to a high standard Become proficient on the trimming machine and undertake the necessary quality checks ensuring everything is done to a high standard Understand the procedures for completing 'Make Ups' and 'Factory Spoilage' froms, and for dealing with 'Overs' Complete work list and fill in shift handover sheet Requirements: Machining experience - Essential Problem solver High level of attention to detail Willing to learn Excellent working attitude Full training will be given, however you must be technically minded, and comfortable working on machines.
