Overview
Interim Marketing Officer - Public Sector - Start Date ASAP - £15 per hour - Contract until end of July Your new company Public sector, Midlothian. Contract until end of July. Your new role The primary focus of this role is planning, implementing and evaluating advertising. This involves overall project management, liaison with academics to agree target markets and messages, liaison with the organisations advertising agency, evaluating agency proposals, preparation of copy, commissioning or preparing artwork, monitor results and learning from them. The post holder also signposts other marketing services and other internal clients and makes the necessary introductions - eg for PR, web page development etc. Also potentially involvement in wider marketing projects eg event management and support, marketing copywriting etc etc. What you'll need to succeed Project management Advertising copy writing Proof reading General knowledge of marketing and communications roles Good people person Writing for social media Indesign & Photoshop - Desirable What you'll get in return You will be offered an hourly rate of £15 per hour and a contract initially until the end of July with the potential to extend.
