Real Staffing are partnering on an exclusive basis with a major player in skincare looking for a Medical Manager focusing on dermatology products in the UK market based in their trendy central London Office. The company were set up by one biologist and are now one of the largest cosmetic groups in the world and it is present in more than 100 countries with experienced growth of 20% growth per year over the past 5 years As a Medical Manager, you will be focused on developing medical strategies to raise awareness in the UK Scientific and Medical community. The role includes doctor visits (mainly dermatologists), management and improvement of key opinion leaders (KOL) network, development of relations between company UK and the local scientific community in line with Medical Strategy (example: leading round tables with KOL's) As Medical Manager you will have excellent networking skills and show proactivity in recruiting key opinion leaders for the dermatology brands during specific events such symposiums and congresses. The role requires the Medical Manager to have a deep understanding in biology and science behind skin conditions and dermatological medical products. You will be running projects as well managing a team member. The role requires the Medical Manager to understand how "recommendations" from professionals will influence business, rather than "prescriptions" as they are not a NHS prescribed brand, but rather over the counter (OTC). Responsibilities: Develop and manage UK Medical Network Prospect, organise and lead events such congresses, round tables and partnerships addressed to the UK Scientific Community, in order to support product launches and/or raise awareness. Cooperate with speakers in order to promote and present products during events dedicated to the Scientific Community Develop and follow tools for medical department and medical visits: collect information from teams and scientific files, brief designers, manage printings Management: Manage and forecast the budget for UK medical department Support and follow up medical visits Managing a junior team member Clinic Management: Working with sales team on opening new accounts and manage existing accounts Process clinic orders Develop and maintain clinic network, notably through staff training Training/Support: Train UK internal dept. such as Marketing and Sales infusing medical knowledge regarding ranges / products / skin conditions / dermatology and scientific methods and researches Approve the medical wording in all UK digital and printed tools Experience Scientific or Medical background (Dermatology ideally) Educated to Degree level within relevant scientific field or equal industry knowledge Knowledge of dermatology or cosmetic market or dermatology industry Field experience e.g. as a medical representative To find out more about Real please visit www.realstaffing.com Real Staffing, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy| Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
