Overview
The Organisation We have partnered with an industry leading, FMCG Food business who are looking for a talented Senior National Account Manager to join their commercial team, responsible for driving growth with their biggest grocery customer. The business has a portfolio of some of Britain’s most loved brands, as well as a large market share of the own label category they operate in. The customer this individual will be responsible for is a strategic partner, requiring a candidate who is commercially astute and able to manage complex relationships and negotiations. The business experienced a solid year of growth around both revenue sales and profitability last year, and on track to do the same in 2020. Culturally they are a collaborative, fast paced and energetic business and pride themselves on their positive and inclusive working environment. There is also the opportunity to line manage a team of 2, immediately or slightly further down the line if the individual hasn’t line managed previously. The Candidate • Ideally will have worked for an FMCG manufacturer in either food/drinks/cosmetics/pharma • Blend of branded and own label experience • Top 4 grocery retailer experience is preferable, but they would also consider individuals as long as they have managed the relationship with a large, key customer account • Ability to work at a strategic level, making insightful recommendations to both the customer and internal stakeholders • Line management experience or desire and ability to manage • Strong commercial acumen with a solid attention to detail • Proven track record of being able to work cross functional with marketing, npd, category and supply chain • Creative thinker and team player About Mackenzie Jones At Mackenzie Jones, we put specialist expertise to work.
