Reports to: Head of Data Compliance & Licensing Level: Intermediate/Senior Location: London or Amsterdam Role Type: Full time,Permanent Start date: ASAP An exciting opportunity to join an agile team of data compliance & licensing specialists that provides subject matter expertise on data compliance, control, governance, licensing, and market data audits both internally and to 3di’s clients either directly during engagements or via the content that the team ensures is continuously maintained and updated to the highest of standards within 3di’s flagship market data online info-base Profiler and its Exchanges and Trading Venues Module (XTVM) . Role Description: As Senior Consultant, deliver on DC&L focused client consultancy engagements, and add subject matter expertise to the content authoring process for all areas of 3di’s flagship market data online info-base Profiler . Role - Data Compliance & Licensing: To deliver and/or lead Compliance and Data Governance analysis and projects worldwide with subject matter expertise in Rights Management of all data vendors and on the licensing implications on consumption & data flows throughout the enterprise. Be a power user of 3di’s DCDM (Data Compliance and Dependency Manager) through usage on client engagements and assist with the evolution of the product. Content research and analysis of the products & data, policies, and pricing aspects of Exchanges and Trading Venues, and the commercial and rights policies of all other data providers. Support clients in their usage of DC&L SaaS products and handle specialist data queries / client requests / prepare bespoke reports. Liaise and attend meetings with client and exchanges to build long-term relationships. Help support the other teams within 3di and existing clients. Attend training & industry network meetings (FISD etc.) and develop relevant knowledge and skills. Ideally 5 years’ experience of market data compliance & licensing in either an end consumer firm or at a data vendor. Ideally 5 years’ experience of enterprise and market data products in business areas such as equities, research, investment banking, and asset management. Market data landscape and major vendors/products knowledge. Business analysis and research skills are a pre-requisite; experience in financial markets domains other than data management welcomed. Understanding of asset classes; data challenges: global differences, cross asset vendor identifiers, legal entity data, file formats, usage rights and compliance Understanding of industry regulatory challenges: MIFID II, BASEL, DODD-FRANK, LEI, etc. Excellent verbal and written communicator; solid report writing, and good Excel and presentation skills. Vendor / client liaison and relationship management experience. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality deliverables. Multi-tasker, able to see things from multiple viewpoints, manage own time effectively and prioritise efficiently. Methodical, focused and highly organised approach to work with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to shifting business priorities. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Keen for new experiences, responsible and accountable. Strong team-player.
