Overview of the Business Intelligence Analyst: Reporting to the Head of Data Insight, the Business Intelligence Analyst is primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating our client's operational performance, ensuring that the business works simultaneously towards revenue, cost, margin and quality goals. The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist in developing appropriate periodic KPIs for the business, working with operational, sales and marketing stakeholders to create and execute plans to drive performance, find operational efficiencies and achieve targets. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for development and maintenance of the business’ ecosystem performance model, ensuring that senior decision-makers have a single, birds-eye view of operational performance at all times, and will be expected to take the lead on scenario modelling and planning for new activities, determining how these may affect the business and reporting this back to the leadership team. Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst: Development and ownership of our client's operational KPIs Development and maintenance of business reports and dashboards Flag potential performance issues ahead of time by developing performance alerting framework and work with stakeholders across the business to design and deploy solutions Thoroughly investigate potential issues within the business using statistical analysis Continual analysis of lead generation and handling processes across the business, seeking out optimisation and efficiency opportunities Work with data from a variety of sources – including marketing, operational and financial – to identify, analyse and report on long-term trends within the business and wider market Build and maintain data models that guide and model performance impact Own the ecosystem and keep its different layers updated at all times to ensure optimum performance monitoring and scenario analysis Effectively communicate complex concepts to senior management and others Requirements of the Business Intelligence Analyst: 3 years’ experience in an analytical or data insight role Intermediate-level SQL skills Expert-level Excel skills Data-driven and fuelled by insights A thorough understanding of digital marketing processes Technically minded, with an interest in working with cutting-edge technology Obsessed with efficiency and process optimisation Commercially-savvy Unafraid to challenge the status quo Strong communication skills, with the ability to autonomously work with senior stakeholders Great team worker, able to influence and promote change Passionate about the detail Experience of BI reporting systems – such as QlikView or PowerBI – would be beneficial Benefits of becoming the Business Intelligence Analyst: You will join an open and transparent business where there are no closed doors, and everyone is accessible across our client starting with Anton the CEO.
